For venues
BravoPin for bars and restaurants
You already have the screens. This puts the room on one of them: one line at a time, scanned from the table, and gone by morning.
What is on your screens tonight?
All true, all useful, and none of it about the room it is playing in.
| Playing now | On one of your screens instead |
|---|---|
| Made months ago, somewhere else | Written ten minutes ago, at table nine |
| About an ocean, a hotel, a joke | About the people in this room |
| Nobody here chose it | Your guests wrote every word |
| The same as last Tuesday | Different every night |
It takes one slot in the rotation. Everything else stays where it is.
What a guest does
Sees the card
A small card on the table, with your board’s name on it.
Scans it
With the camera they already have. No app, no account.
Types one line
A name is optional, and most people leave it off. That is the point.
Looks up
It is on your screens in seconds. If the room likes it, it grows.
What you put out, once
Cards on the tables
Printed from your own board. The address on them never changes, so they never expire.
Six characters on the screen
Open bravopin.com/tv on whatever runs your screens and type the code once. Any browser will do.
A link on the manager’s phone
Clears the screen in one tap, pulls a single line, or stops new messages. No login.
Run the night from your phone
Press one of four buttons on your phone. It is on your screens in seconds, above the room’s own lines, and guests answer from the phone they already have.
Announcement
Say it once, to every table
One sentence in big letters above the room’s lines, for ten minutes, an hour, or until you take it down.
Happy hour
Two for one on starters until eight.
Match night
Kick-off at eight, with the sound on at half time.
Poll
Ask the whole room
A question and up to five answers. Guests tap one at their table, and the bars on your screen move as they do.
The menu
Which dessert should come back next week?
The music
What should we play after this one?
Quiz
Quiz night, without the paper
Paste your questions straight from your notes. They go up one at a time, each table answers on one phone, and the top three go on the screen at the end.
Round one
Who painted The Night Watch?
The last question
What is the capital of Australia?
Prize
Give the room a reason to write
Put a prize on for an hour: you write the line above the room, and the most-voted message when the clock runs out wins it. Three you could run tonight:
A quiet Tuesday
Best line before nine wins a dessert.
A Sunday table
Funniest thing said at your table wins pudding for the table.
Quiz night
Your questions on the screen, best heckle wins the next round.
Start it yourself, or set it for Friday at seven. At the end you see the lines in order, and the winner shows you six characters from their own phone — the same six are beside the line on your screen.
A prize keeps the lines that entered it for a week afterwards, so you can still hand it over. Nothing else changes.
Up to three can be on at once. Want the whole screen for a quiz or the match? One switch takes the room’s lines off, and they come back by themselves once nothing is on.
You decide what reaches your screen
Checking is automatic and runs before anything shows. The phone behind the bar is a last resort.
Checked automatically
A line that is unkind, hostile or selling something never reaches your screen.
If you ever want one gone
The phone behind the bar clears the screen in one tap. No login, no app, nobody to call.
Or take one line off
Or stop new ones for the night. Same phone, any of your boards.
Nobody finds your board by looking
- It is in no list on this site. Our own page of boards holds public ones only, and yours is never on it.
- No search engine has it. There is no page anywhere that links to your board.
- The only way in is the card on your tables, or a link you send yourself.
What stays yours
- Every line checked before it reaches the screen; with the tone check on, nothing unkind, hostile or selling something.
- Your own line on the board, above the room’s, and nothing pushes it off.
- How long a line stays: forty-five minutes to two days.
- When the board ends, and whether it opens again tomorrow.
- Anything you want to say, dropped in among the room’s own lines at whatever size: last orders in ten minutes, three metres tall.
Said plainly, because you would find it out later: a board somebody makes for themselves, for a party or a wedding, is not checked the same way. There, only what is against the law is stopped. A venue’s board is checked line by line: ticking that it is a bar, restaurant, café or shop switches that on, and you can switch it off or on again in the board’s settings.
Across every place you run
One board per restaurant, with its own name, its own cards and its own code. A busy Saturday in Varna changes nothing in Sofia.
None of them is listed, indexed or findable. The only way in is a card on a table in that room.
What you never have to do
- Install anything. A screen with a browser is the whole requirement.
- Ask a guest for an account, or for an app.
- Keep anything about a guest, or ask them to agree to anything.
- Have somebody reading every line before it goes up.
Putting one in your place
One room of your own is free, and your screen carries one small line from us. Several places or a paid event need a word first.
More than one place? Or want your board without our line on it? Either one takes a word with us first.
